Polyiso Adhesive

National Coatings Corporation supplies the industry leading Polyiso adhesive for the attachment of rigid insulation boards to various substrates called NC275 LRRA.  This polyiso adhesive is a spray applied polyurethane adhesive with high bonding strength and a large temperature application range allowing for an easy application process.  Polyiso adhesives are designed to ensure that the roof deck, iso boards and the membrane above the iso boards are fully adhered without jeopardizing the structure of the roof.

Polyiso Adhesive - Application

National Coatings polyiso adhesive is applied by using spray foam equipment.  The spray foam application takes the polyiso adhesives ingredients and mixes them together to create a semi-liquid foam mixture on the roof.  When the polyiso adhesive is sprayed, it immediately expands up to 30 times its original volume.  You are able to apply polyiso adhesives on fiberboard, rigid insulation board, concrete, sheetrock-type gypsum board, wood fiber, wood, painted or galvanized steel, smooth or gravel BUR, mineral capsheets, smooth or granulated modified bitumen, structural or lightweight concrete, spray polyurethane foam (SPF) and dens-deck.
